My Story

I’m a 10th house Leo stellium. My sun and inner planets are all within two degrees of each other. Born nearly at high noon, I bring the light, fire, and heat. I watch the world and I help things grow. But above all I consider myself an artist.

I grew up with an animist sensibility. My father, born and raised in the Philippines, told me many mystical stories about the land there. My mother grew up in Appalachia, but it was through her military career that we moved from place to place.

I’ve known a lot of lands through living, travel, and story and each new place has had their own song and feeling. If a whole place can radiate a vibrancy of their own making, then each piece of that land - the rocks, the plants, the animals, the people, the buildings - adds to the chorus. I hear this music and I love, love, love it. The more I’ve lived my life the more I’ve learned how to dial in. For the past decade or so, I’ve concentrated that learning in the plant world, and where I feel like I can act with knowledge.

As for what Enchanting Seasons is for? Well, the 10th house is all about public offerings. I can’t help but shine myself and what I’ve learned outward! Thank you for your time and interest and I hope there’s a little something for you here!
