As we transition from Gemini Season to Cancer, from the signs of hands and shoulders to the sign of bellies and breasts, may our hands feed the gut, may our work nourish our intuition. May the longest day stretch into the horizon as the Earth turns and the waning light remind us of the cycles we spin around. The dance of circles spinning in our bodies, in our hearts, in our sleep, in our feed, in the trees and in the insects, in our relationships and in the cosmos. We grab hands and spin and we let go and we spin - a dance among dancers. Cycles of breath and cycles of ages. We dance as all the universe dances.

For this Litha celebration, I dream that our collective cycles sync so that we create a movement, a new dance. The more we connect with other dancers, the more we spin in someone else’s orbit, the more we orbit around the insects, the trees, the plants, the birds, the community, the collective, the more we spin the more we create a new cycle. A counter spin to fascism, a counter to disconnection, a counter to the psychic mutilation and amputation. We can move it another way. Be we must connect and spin together, the cycles overlap, crossect, submerge in dimensions that are unknown, but known. We move together so we can move together.

May our hands feed the gut, may our work nourish our intuition, may we reap what we sow.

Tarot Pull for Cancer Season: Page of Pentacles - A Sweet Start

but don’t rush, have the vision in your mind
picture it clearly - no such thing as instant gratification
root down from the bottoms of your feet to the crown of your higher self
then you must make the steps
the cycle begins again - a spiral - working hands, working minds
at the bottom of the breath, our work isn’t finished
at the top of our breath, our work isn’t finished
be rooted and breathe
be rooted and spin
we move together - a practice that never ends
